Ship's bLog..KWSA 1.6.11

"What a wonderful sail Captain Albert" Nancy first mate reported ..."Yesterday, Capt. Brad and I were with our group and all of the sudden, a pod of dolphins jumped and played all around the boat! Everyone was all smiles!"

Another day in the Florida Keys with temps in in the 80's and today a small front will slightly cool it down to the upper 70's but that is what we love too, relaxed days, and sea breezes.....

Key West is warming up-January 1, 2011

Ship's bLog We got yet another call a second time this morning and our guests on one of the boats -Obsession, extended their stay; again! They wanted to go on board Wild Thing for their last night with us. Having stayed already two more days, they just cannot bear to leave. We have a sunset sail for another group going on the the Wild Thing Sail boat (needed a bit of cleaning and fluffing up, as our guests had a marrrvelous time last night!)

We did too; listening to breezes and fireworks, watching the hammock swaying outside our sliding doors overlooking the swim canal. Ahhhh - LIFE IS GOOD my wife Ronda said.

Picture yourself HERE in the Florida Keys, and in Key West!

Ship's bLog-Warming up in Key West

Yesterday, Albert and Ronda went to visit a friend from Panama near Mile Marker 76 and noticed that half the free world seemed to be driving in the Keys! Today and tomorrow Albert is taking guests out for half day "holiday" stay sail charters to the reefs. Although chilly to locals, it's spring like weather for anyone else. With the snowed in conditions and the airports north of Florida (New York and other locations) having delays, we guess that everyone that is tired of the cold is driving down.

My husband & I along with my brother-in-law and his wife drove from Toledo, Ohio area to Key West a trip we've taken for about 12years now. We've sailed on many sunset sails and by far this was the best experience ever! We sailed on the Adirondack II with captain Andy and only two other crew members, Chad & Mindy. They kept us all in line - safe - and entertained. What a beautiful evening had by all. Well worth the wait - and very affordable. Just believe that it takes folks that really enjoy their work to return their appreciation, affection, and love of the water! They know their stuff and shared their knowledge with us all. They even allowed us guests to take the wheel! Thank Captain Andy, Chad & Mindy for the greatest experience we've ever had on the water in Key West. You guys did an excellent job - and we hope that you are rewarded for it. Good help is hard to find these days - a true asset to the Classic Harbor Line. From the Tobers that sailed on Friday, April 30th, 2010 from all the way from Toledo, Ohio. (419)836-3709
